What is Monad?
Monad is a high-performance Layer 1 designed to deliver EVM compatibility at dramatically higher throughput than Ethereum. It uses parallel execution, an optimized consensus mechanism (MonadBFT), and a rearchitected state database to target 10,000+ transactions per second while remaining fully compatible with existing Solidity contracts and Ethereum tooling. MON is the native gas token.
