What is Gensyn?

Gensyn is a custom Ethereum rollup built for decentralized machine learning, where the blockchain coordinates AI compute tasks, verifies execution, and handles payments. The network aggregates idle computing power from data centers, personal machines, and other devices into a global compute marketplace for training and running AI models. AI is the native token. Gensyn's mainnet launched in April 2025 with Delphi, an AI-driven prediction market, as its first live application. The chain is EVM-compatible, with bridging available through LayerZero and Relay Protocol, and DeFi infrastructure including Oku, Uniswap, and Morpho already deployed. For users, Gensyn is a standard EVM environment with an ecosystem centered around AI applications and compute markets rather than traditional DeFi.
